Dr. James Siegrist graduated from Wesleyan University, Middletown, CT with a B.A. in Chemistry in 1966. He graduated from University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 1970 and then spent a year working for a mixed animal practice in Galva, IL. In 1971 he became an ambulatory veterinarian for Illinois Equine Hospital & Field Service in Naperville. In 1976, he and Dr. John Wiseman became the owners of Illinois Equine Field Service.
