Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Cameron Kindra grew up in the Lincoln Square neighborhood of Chicago. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Spanish at the University of Michigan and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois in 2018. He spent 6 months in an advanced training internship at Purdue University Small Animal Hospital before joining Dundee Animal Hospitals emergency staff. Dr. Kindra has specific interests in surgery, critical care management, and cardiology, but enjoys all aspects of emergency medicine. ER visits are rarely planned and are often stressful for everyone involved; Dr. Kindra is dedicated to communicating clearly with owners in order to ensure that the utmost quality of care for their beloved pets is preserved during these difficult visits. Dr. Kindra pursues a wide array of hobbies while not working, including playing and refereeing soccer, golf, cooking, playing music, and relaxing with his dog Milo and cat Butterscotch. He is thrilled to be a part of the Dundee community and closer to home where he can see his large extended family more frequently.
