Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Connie Brunkow graduated from the University of Illinois in 1989. She has practiced in the East Central Illinois area for over 23 years. For the year prior to opening Caring Hearts Animal Hospital she was the Director of the Veterinary Technology Program at Parkland College in Champaign. Dr. Brunkow was also an instructor at DACC in Medical Terminology for 14 years. She was on staff at local veterinary hospitals for over 17 years. She currently serves as the veterinarian for the Vermilion County Dept. of Animal Regulation and the shelter on Catlin/Tilton Road. Dr. Connie has bred and shown dogs for almost 40 years. In April 2012, she was honored to be the conformation judge for the American Whippet Club National Specialty show.
