Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Julie Hoag did both her undergrad work and veterinary training at the University of Illinois, graduating in 1984 (yes, in the days before cell phones and ATM machines imagine!) She has had additional formal training in allergic diseases and diseases of the eye, as well as training in teaching and education. In addition, she has a passion for internal medicine and the nutritional support of healthy aging. She is licensed in three countries the USA, Zambia and Nepal, where she continues to go to conduct annual teaching programs. When Dr J is not at work or traveling, she can be found at the barn with her Morgan show horses. She also loves anything DIY and is addicted to Pinterest! She is owned by two Australian shepherds, one of which was born deaf and vision impaired, and 2 cats that appear to live just to push stuff off counter tops!
