Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Boonstra graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. Since then she has primarily specialized in zoo, aquatic, wildlife, and exotic animal medicine. She has a special interest in One Health related issues, and completed a Masters in Public health at UIC. She is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine and also obtained her acupuncture certification from the Chi Institute.
