Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Maloney, a Chicagoland native, has been practicing veterinary medicine since 2008, when she began living out her lifelong dream of being a veterinarian. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana and remained at the University where she received a doctorate in veterinary medicine. The areas of medicine that interest her the most are preventative care and dentistry, and over the course of her career she has developed a proficiency in complicated tooth extractions and dental blocks. She also is a member of the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association and volunteers at the Tree House Humane Society. Dr. Maloney resides in the South Loop with her beloved Charlie, an eight year old Maltese mix. She is an avid fan of the Fighting Illini and Chicago White Sox and likes to run, play trivia, and go to the dog park.
