Veterinarian Overview
Timothy Combs, DVM, CVA, CVT is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian and Integrative Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Cincinnati where he has been part of the medical team since 2016. Dr. Combs attended Miami University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree and Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine where he earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Prior to pursuing his veterinary degree, Dr. Combs worked as a registered veterinary technician at MedVet Cincinnati for almost three years.Following his graduation from veterinary school, Dr. Combs became a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (CVA) at the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He divides his time between working in the Emergency Department and providing integrative and rehabilitative medicine services.Dr. Combs maintains an interest in all aspects of small animal emergency and integrative medicine has particular interest in pain management and osteoarthritis case management. His favorite part about being a veterinarian is being able to help patients that are in pain and support their owners with information. He is currently enrolled in a Masters Degree Program for Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) at the Chi Institute for Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine. He is also completing his Canine Rehabilitation Certificate Program (C.C.R.P.) with the University of Tennessee. When not treating patients, Dr. Combs enjoys volleyball and sports related activities, nature based activities, traveling, and music.
