Veterinarian Overview
Brent R. Crabtree, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Indianapolis where he has been part of the emergency team since 2015. Dr. Crabtree attended Indiana Wesleyan University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 2010, then Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine where he earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2014. Following his graduation from veterinary school, Dr. Crabtree practiced general veterinary medicine and surgery at South Anderson Veterinary Clinic and Country Critters Veterinary Hospital in Indiana. After working in general practice, Dr. Crabtree realized that he most enjoyed managing the patients that presented with sudden illness and injuries so he decided to join the emergency team at MedVet. Dr. Crabtree maintains an interest in all aspects of emergency medicine with particular interest in laceration repair, wound debridement, as well as the more complex emergency surgical procedures. He appreciates working with critical patients and observing their progress and improvement.
