Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Josie Arbogast is an Indianapolis native, where her love of all animals- both big and small, developed at a very young age on her grandparents farm. Much to her mother's chagrin, Dr. Arbogast was notorious as a youngster for bringing home every stray animal she could find. As a freshman in high school, she got a job at the local neighborhood veterinary clinic, where she quickly realized that a career as a veterinarian would be a perfect fit to fulfill her passion for both medicine and animal welfare. Dr. Arbogast graduated magna cum laude from the University of Dayton with a B.S. in Biochemistry. She then went on to complete her D.V.M. with honors at (The) Ohio State University go bucks! Dr. Arbogast is passionate about many aspects of veterinary medicine, but in particular values the ability to help strengthen the human-animal bond. She loves that her job works to ensure the health and well being of her patients as well as educate clients so that the relationship between owners and their furry family members can reach its full potential. When not practicing at BLVD, you can find Dr. Arbogast enjoying any and all outdoor activities/sports, checking off her travel bucket list, making her way through Chicago's vast array of eateries (new suggestions welcome!), and spending time with her Great Dane, Lucca.
