Veterinarian Overview
Dr. McClure earned her veterinary doctorate in 1999 from Ross University, School of Veterinary Medicine. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the State University of New York, Purchase. Prior to owning Boone Veterinary Hospital, she practiced at small animal clinics in Lafayette, Indiana, Adel, Iowa and Ames. Dr. McClure is a member of the AVMA and IVMA. Her interests include soft tissue surgery, oncology, allergies and ultrasound. She has a strong commitment to performing high quality medicine and surgery for her patients. Dr. McClure lives in Boone with her husband and daughter, their dogs "Cole", "May" and "Lulu", a barn cat named "Mango", and two horses, "Nacho" and "Teddy". In her free time, Dr. McClure enjoys reading, gardening, outdoor activities, cooking and traveling.
