Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Laura Schneider grew up in Los Angeles, and attended college at University of San Diego, majoring in Philosophy and Biology. She was a full scholarship athlete for their division one volleyball team. Laura stayed in California for veterinary school, attending Western University of Health Sciences. She was class president and inducted into the veterinary honor society, Phi Zeta. Following graduation, she completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at California Veterinary Specialists after which she was hired on as an Emergency Clinician. Laura's husband matched at Emory for his anesthesia residency, so they packed up their belongings and animals and drove cross-country to Atlanta. They have not looked back since!She loves everything outdoors and spending as much time as possible with her husband Joey, dogs Finnegan and Monster, and cats Romeo and Russell.
