Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Nichols is originally from Monroe, Michigan. She attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in 1994. She attended Michigan State University where she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1999. She also attended the University of Florida where she received her Master of Public Health degree in 2007. She has been practicing small animal medicine since 1999.Dr. Nichols joined the Pharr Road Animal Hospital team in 2008 when she moved to Atlanta, Georgia. She and her husband welcomed their daughter Clara in 2013. Their family also includes an English bulldog named Mojo and a kitty named Toshi. Dr. Nichols embraces the quirkiness of the brachycephalic (smooshed-faced) breeds like bulldogs. They have such personalities and can snore like lumberjacks! She also enjoys traveling, book club, and church activities in her free time.
