Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Brad Wilson was born in GA and has lived in Rome, Ga., New Jersey, and North Carolina before moving to Marietta in 1971. Brad graduated from Sprayberry High School in 1984 and attended The University of Georgia. He received a bachelors degree in zoology in 1988. Dr. Wilson graduated from the University of Georgia, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. Upon graduation he worked at Veterinary Medical Center in Alpharetta, Ga., from June, 1994 until April, 1998.Dr. Wilson joined The Veterinary Clinic in April, 1998 where he became the primary Doctor at The Veterinary Clinic-West. Dr. Wilson specializes in reptile and amphibian medicine and surgery in addition to his work with other small and exotic animals.Outside the hospital Dr. Wilson enjoys a myriad of activities such as professional level photography, rescuing endangered plants, working with the Atlanta Botanical Gardens, and working on habitats for endangered frogs in Central America. Recently, Dr Wilson has worked with several amphibian conservation projects in Panama and Costa Rica.
