Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Zach Lane is a Georgia native and grew up in Woodstock. He attended Berry College in Rome, GA majoring in Animal Science, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2009. He then moved 3,000 miles away to the beautiful island of Grenada in the Caribbean to attend St. Georges University School of Veterinary Medicine. After a few years in the Caribbean, he completed his clinical training at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine earning him his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. During his breaks from veterinary school, Dr. Lane worked as a veterinary assistant at Cobb Emergency Veterinary Clinic. Finding it difficult to leave his CEVC family, he decided to join our team as a veterinarian in 2014. His professional interests include avian and exotic medicine, emergency soft tissue surgery, emerging diseases and integrative medicine. Outside of work, Dr. Lane enjoys gardening, maintaining his Bonsai collection and shares his home with several large parrots.
