Veterinarian Overview
I was born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia. From a young age I had a fascination with animals and science. Even though we lived in the city, we had two cats and an assortment of reptiles that my father would take in. For undergraduate school I attended Virginia Tech and majored in Biology. During that time I worked at a veterinary clinic, but also explored the possibility of studying marine biology. In the end, I realized that my true passion was in the treatment and medical care of animals. I continued my education at Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2013. Shortly after graduation, I married and moved down to Atlanta for my husbands job. I worked at another small animal practice before coming to Johns Creek. Veterinary medicine is a challenging and rewarding career. I love getting to know the patients and clients and am a strong believer in preventative medicine and client education. My husband and I enjoy living in Georgia. We have 2 dogs. During my free time I enjoy outdoor activities, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
