Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Hamer grew up in Florence, South Carolina and attended the University of Georgia, earning her undergraduate degree in Zoology and her graduate degree in Veterinary Medicine. After working at the DeKalb Animal Hospital in Tucker, Georgia from 1996-2005, Dr. Hamer began a new career as a relief veterinarian. Dr. Hamer has been a regular substitute for Drs. Johnson and Pinsky at the Dunwoody Animal Medical Center since 2006. Dr. Hamer enjoys balancing her life as a mother and Veterinarian. She lives in Dunwoody with her husband, son, two dogs and two cats.
