Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Alvey established BridgeMill Animal Hospital on March 26th, 2004. He grew up in Owensboro, KY. He graduated in 1983 from Western Kentucky University with a BS degree in Agriculture. He went on to graduate with his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University in 1988. He owned and operated Cobb Central and Mobile Vet Services from 1988 until 1999. He provided medical and surgical services as a relief veterinarian from 1999 until 2004 when he opened BridgeMill Animal Hospital. Dr. Alvey resides in Cherokee County with his wife Kathy and his two children Jake & Madison. He is the proud owner of four dogs (Bogey, Allie, Lu-Lu and LeRoy) and his cats (Cartman and Aubie). He currently serves on the Animal Control Board for Cherokee County & the Board for the GVMA Animal Welfare.
