Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Carrie Unger joined Belle Isle in March of 2012. She completed her baccalaureate degree in Animal and Dairy science at The University of Georgia in 1997 and then graduated from The University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007 while working towards her masters degree in Veterinary Pathology. Dr. Unger is involved with other aspects of veterinary medicine outside of the hospital by working with the VISION Program sponsored by Guide Dog Foundation For The Blind Inc., as well as an equine rehabilitation program through the Georgia Department of Agriculture. When she is not working as an Atlanta veterinarian, Dr. Unger enjoys playing tennis, hiking, Georgia football, and of course spending time with her Labrador Retriever, Indiana, and her two cats, Louie and Somoygi.
