Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Molina is a native of San Juan, Puerto Rico. Growing up in a Caribbean island gave him a love for animals and nature. As one of five children, Dr. Molina was the child who always brought home stray animals to care for. He decided to become a veterinarian at the age of 12 after his hometown vet saved his cat from serious trauma. From that day forward, he continued to rescue and care for animals while putting in all of the hard work and dedication necessary to become a veterinarian. Majoring in biology at the University of Puerto Rico enabled Dr. Molina to participate in a variety of preservation research projects. He received his Degree in Veterinary Medicine in 2004 from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts, West Indies. He performed his clinical rotation at the University of Florida in Gainesville. Dr. Molina spent his first year of practice studying under top veterinarians in Long Island, NY then relocated to Sarasota, FL where he has been practicing medicine since 2005. He has served as a relief veterinarian, emergency veterinarian, general practitioner, and dedicated surgeon for a variety of clinics and emergency hospitals in this area for seven years, and is now branching out on his own to offer you and your beloved animals the best possible personal care. Dr. Molina believes in treating the whole pet and also offers a variety of holistic treatment options. Since Dr. Molina feels that pets are best diagnosed and treated when they are comfortable, he is able to bring his services to you. He offers personalized house calls in the comfort of your home. In addition, certain treatments and surgeries can be performed at his clinic in Venice, FL. Dr. Molinas goal is to ensure that your pets live happy, healthy, long lives with you
