Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Holly Weber was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. After 18 years of grey skies and snowy winters, she moved to Melbourne, FL to attend Florida Institute of Technology, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Following graduation, Dr. Weber worked as a zoo keeper and as a veterinary assistant at a small animal/exotic hospital. After a few years of gaining work and life experience, Dr. Weber decided to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian. She graduated from Mississippi State University in 2010 worked for a small animal/exotic/wildlife hospital in Bradenton, Florida for the past 4 years. Dr. Weber is a certified veterinary acupuncturist and is training in Chinese and Western herbal therapies. She believes in combining different modalities of Eastern and Western medicine to provide treatment for all pets. Her other interests include feline medicine, dermatology, and geriatric patient care. Outside the animal hospital, Dr. Weber is an active member of the Sarasota County Rowing Club and also enjoys running, reading, lounging at the beach, and spending time with her husband and pets. She has been part of the Bright Cross team since 2014.
