Veterinarian Overview
Charles D. Quaterman is the owner and veterinarian at Tallahassee Regional Animal Hospital. He was born in Florida, which inspired him to be very active outside. He has always enjoyed outdoor activities from fishing and hiking to enjoying the beaches around the state. His main enjoyment however, comes from nature and enjoying wildlife that surrounds him. He has always had an affinity towards animals in all shapes and sizes. Always having a scientific mindset, the veterinary profession was a perfect fit. Accepted directly out of undergrad at FSU, he went to UF College of Veterinary Medicine. There he discovered an interest in many aspects of medicine including ophthalmology, internal medicine, but really enjoyed surgery more than anything. Currently, Dr. Quarterman enjoys spending time with his family which includes his beautiful wife, Jennifer, his three children, Jack, Alex, and Layne (Daddys little girl). His extended family includes his three dogs, Lilly, Owen, and Fern, as well as his cat Stewey. He still enjoys all manner of outdoor activities but mostly focuses on fishing and other water and beach related activities.
