He received his undergraduate studies at the University of Missouri, and his DVM from Cornell Universitys School of Veterinary Medicine in 1973. Dr. Stan Hopeks medical interests include internal medicine, endocrinology, gerontology, and surgery. He especially enjoys the puzzles of challenging medical cases. Dr. Stan Hopek grew up in Syosset, NY. He practiced in Syracuse, NY, for 8 years, and then purchased the Orangetown Animal Hospital, in Blauvelt, NY where he enjoyed working for over 18 years. Moving to Stuart, FL with his wife, Sharon, he established the Boulevard Animal Hospital in Stuart, Fl. When not at work, Dr. Stan Hopek enjoys all sports, is a high school baseball umpire, and finds time to go fishing.
