Veterinarian Overview
Originally from Mt Lakes, NJ, Dr. O'Rourke attended Stetson University for her undergraduate work. In 1999 she was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida. She is a veterinary practitioner whose professional interests include internal medicine and dermatology. Dr. O'Rourke is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Florida Veterinary Medical Association. Her professional and experienced practice is guided by her true compassion for animals... "they are not just pets, they're family members". And thus is how she treats each and everyone of them. In her spare time, Dr. O'Rourke enjoys spending time with her family, especially her niece, another future veterinarian in the making.
