Veterinarian Overview
Growing up in Palm Coast, FL, Dr. Mantz returned to her home after completing the nine years of training to becoming a veterinarian. She attended the University of Florida for her undergraduate degree obtaining a bachelors in animal science. She then went to the middle of the country and attended vet school in Manhattan, KS at Kansas State University. After finishing veterinary school, Dr. Mantz completed a 1 year rotating internship at Georgia Veterinary Specialists in Atlanta, GA. She worked for 1 year at a busy 24 hour emergency hospital until she discovered All Creatures in South Daytona! Dr. Mantz enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, though she has a particular interest in internal medicine. Her hobbies outside of work consist of hiking with her two dogs (Becky and Mojo), canoeing, paddle-boarding, and camping.
