Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Ayscue graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. She followed an unusual path, starting her career as a teacher, then obtaining a masters degree in counseling in order to work with children and their families. Dr. Ayscue finds that being a veterinarian is a perfect blend of her previous careers, as every day involves teaching families how best to care for their pets and helping to counsel them through decisions involving their pets health. She currently has a lab-pointer mix named Jackson, a cat named Chico and a leopard tortoise named Sudan.
