Veterinarian Overview
Graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1975. After a few years of practicing in both Ohio and south Florida, he moved to Brevard County and opened Rockledge Animal Clinic in December, 1979. Dr. Shinn's love for animals shines through on a daily basis with his caring, compassionate attitude toward each patient. The confidence and integrity of Dr. Shinn encourages his staff to seek continuing education and strive to perform their best. His special interests in veterinary medicine include endoscopy and orthopedic surgery and in 2005, Dr. Shinn earned a certificate in canine rehabilitation (CCRT). He has four beautiful daughters, a terrier mix named Joey, an orange tabby named Rocky, and a domestic short hair, George.
