Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Shelley Kingsbury, Medical Director, is a native of Punta Gorda. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida in 1988. After graduation she completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Hollywood Animal Hospital in Hollywood, Florida. Following completion of her internship she returned to Punta Gorda and has been practicing here at Punta Gorda Animal Hospital since 1990. Her professional interest is in small animal dentistry. In her free time she enjoys showing paint horses with her family and hiking.
