Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Morton attended Ross University for her DVM and completed her clinicals at the University of Wisconsin. After graduation, she came back to Florida, applied at Morningside Animal Hospital, and now lives her dream of caring for your pets every day as an Associate Veterinarian!Erin especially enjoys internal medicine cases and the problem-solving that comes along with them. She also enjoys educating pet owners on various diseases and what she can do to help. Dr. Morton says she has a soft spot in her heart for the small mammalshamsters, guinea pigs, ratsas well as our feathered friends. The family has a border collie mix named Rossie that they found under a tree in the Caribbean. Rossie was covered in ticks and malnourished when they found himafter taking him in, hes now a happy and healthy dog and greets Dr. Morton and her family happily every time they walk in the door.In her spare time, Dr. Morton loves being outdoors, either at the beach or hiking in the forest. She likes to bring Rossie along for added enjoyment!
