Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Carolyn Kohn, or Dr. Carolyn as she prefers to be called, received her DVM from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State University in 2001. Prior to coming to our clinic in November, 2011, she was in practice at the SPCA clinic in Lakeland, Florida and has practiced in Bradenton and Sarasota, concentrating on small animals and exotics. She has been an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) since 2001.In her spare time she enjoys riding her motorcycle, scuba diving, kayaking, reading and playing her Wii. She is married and has one dog, one macaw, two cats and several "rescue" hermit crabs.
