Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Freiberg started his veterinary career at Sunrise Animal Hospital in New York. He worked there as a technician while he was still in high school and continuing while going to college. He received his bachelors degree from Cornell University and his doctorate of Veterinary medicine from Aranetta university. Dr. Freiberg had the privilege of working with Dr. Rawls Sr. at Rawls veterinary clinic in the early 80_s. At this same time he also worked at the only emergency veterinary clinic that Volusia county had. At this night clinic is where his oldest daughter Jennifer took her first steps as he some time took her to work with him. Dr. Freiberg was the president of the Volusia county veterinary association in 1986 and 1987. He has been a member of the AVMA and the FVMA for over 30 years. In 1988 Dr. Freiberg founded All Creatures Veterinary Clinic. At All Creatures, is where his first born grandson Nathan, who is the son of Jennifer, took his very fist steps. Dr.Freiberg sold All Creatures in 2012. After a very short retirement ( one week) DR Freiberg started working at Flagler Humane society and then Halifax Humane society, where he worked for 2 years. Dr. Freiberg was responsible for saving the lives of over 50 animals that in other circumstances would of been euthanized due to health, neglect and severe injuries. He volunteered his time 7 days a week to help in the treatment of those animals. Dr. Freiberg opened Healing Paws Veterinary clinic in Dec of 2014. He stills manages to find those medical cases that truly need his touch and finding forever homes for them. He works hand in hand with several rescues groups and still does a monthly low cost vaccination clinic to help the less fortunate. Along with his wife Tina they share a home with 8 dogs and a cat. Dr, Freibergs heart belongs o golden retrievers, but his soul belongs to a 7 pound little yorkie/maltese named Jaeger. Dr. Freiberg donates monthly to the Flagler Humane Society. Dr. Freibergs animals are Stoli, a Eskimo/Shelti. MaiTai, a Yorkie/Poodle. Malibu is a Maltese/Yorkie. Jaeger, a Yorkie/Maltese. Michelob, a Golden Retriever. Daisy , a Chihuahua. Megan, a poodle. Lulu Belle a Poodle mix and Frankie, a big fat cat. Dr, Freibergs has 4 absolutely beautiful grandkids, Nathan, Amara, Ali and Matthew.
