Dr. Tracy LaDue (Southeast Veterinary Oncology and Internal Medicine)

Veterinarian Overview

Dr. LaDue grew up in a pet loving family surrounded by animals all the time. She knew from the time she was in 6th grade that she wanted to be a vet. She loves animals because of the unconditional love that they give.In 2004 Dr. LaDue started SEVO-Med as the first veterinary oncology practice in Jacksonville. Coming from a corporate background in Tampa, LaDue wanted to develop a smaller family oriented practice. As a veterinary oncologist she feels she has “the best of both worlds,” she gets to work with animals and with people, enjoying the human-animal bond. As a cancer patient herself, with two small children,Dr. LaDue knew she had to do whatever it took to survive regardless of the difficulties of treatment. She wants pet owners to understand their pets don’t have to suffer the harsh treatments like humans do and she strives to help owners make decisions that result in a higher quality of life for their pets.
