Veterinarian Overview
Dr. John Morton received both his Bachelor of Science in Zoology and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida. During veterinary school, he took a special interest in exotic animal medicine, serving as President of the Student Chapter of the Association of Reptilian and Amphibian Veterinarians for two years. Additionally, he published an article in the Management of Biological Invasions describing a new host species for a reptile parasite. In addition to companion animal care, Dr. Morton has a special interest in the areas of reptile, avian, and small mammal medicine. He is currently a member of the Florida Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
