HavigDr. Marc Havig is a Florida native who grew up in Naples after his family moved here in 1974. Since completing his Surgery Residency in 2005 Dr. Havig has held positions as a clinical instructor in orthopedics at the University of Georgia and as Chief of Surgery at The Animal Medical Center in NYC, one of the largest and busiest veterinary hospitals in the world. Dr. Havig is Board Certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS) and has earned a certificate in Canine Physical Rehabilitation. Dr. Havig serves as a reviewer for The Journal of Veterinary Surgery and in the past has served on the ACVS resident credentialing committee and an invited participant on Pfizers Osteoarthritis and Orthopedic Review Board. Interests include minimally invasive surgery and maximal return to function through integration of rehabilitation and sports medicine principles into veterinary patients.
