Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Martinez has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 25 years. He moved from his hometown in Puerto Rico to New York City, where he completed a post graduate course at the respected Animal Medical Center. Dr. Martinez then moved to Miami and started working at Mount Sinai Hospital performing cardio vascular surgeries on dogs and sheep, for pulmonary research. He then practiced in private practices in both Homestead and Cutler Ridge areas. After years of working at hospitals and small animal clinics, Dr. Martinez decided to open his own office. Dr. Martinez specializes in small animal surgeries, dermatology and internal medicine. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, and is dedicated to practicing only the highest quality of veterinary medicine for your four legged friend. Compassion, kindness, and love of animals is what makes Dr. Martinez such a great vet.
