Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Jennifer Freeman graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005, and then spent two years practicing at a small animal hospital in Flagler Beach, FL. She then moved to Orlando to work for a busy small animal practice where she became interested in integrative and alternative medicine. Dr. Freeman attended the Chi institute of Chinese Medicine while working at Sanlando Springs Animal Hospital and immediately started using her new skills. She officially graduated from the Chi Institute of Chinese Medicine in December 2011, earned her certification in January 2012 and shortly thereafter decided to practice TCVM exclusively and to start a mobile practice in May of 2012 in order to make integrative medicine more available for people in the Orlando area. Dr. Freeman has also completed an advanced acupuncture course, and is certified in Herbal Medicine through the Chi Institute as of December 2013.Future endevours include food therapy, tui na, and physical therapy to expand her holistic practice. Other interests are emergency medicine and critical care and Dr. Freeman works part time at the Veterinary Emergency Clinic of Central Florida.Dr. Freeman has a dog, two cats and a horse and is an amateur dressage rider. Other hobbies include reading, traveling, and spending time with her pets
