Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Suarez Member of The American Veterinary Medical Association Internship - VCA Hollywood Animal Hospital After growing up in Central Florida just outside of Cocoa Beach, Dr. Suarez attended the University of Miami for her undergraduate degree in Biology, with minors in Chemistry and Psychology. She was very active between her sorority, Delta Delta Delta, and volunteering with various animal organizations. She received her veterinary degree from the University of Florida, and was inducted into the Phi Zeta Honor Society upon graduation. She joins our VCA HAH team to further develop her special interests in emergency medicine, soft tissue surgery and dermatology. She is a true Floridian who loves spending time at the beach, and is also a newlywed who splits her 'off time' with her husband in Seattle as he completes his doctorate program. She has one Bengal cat named Cavalli who drives her crazy (but she adores). She looks forward to continuing to immerse herself in the vibrant culture that is South Florida, including improving her Spanish. Education: University of Florida Years in Practice: 1
