Veterinarian Overview
Received her undergraduate degree at Stetson University in 1993. She graduated with honors from Ross University and completed her clinical rotations at University of Missouri. After graduation, she practiced in the Hudson Valley area in New York where she focused on internal medicine and oncology. In January of 2004, Dr Ulbrich and her husband Dr MacPhail purchased the DeLand Animal Hospital. Responding to the needs of the area, they transformed DeLand Animal Hospital into a full service 24 hour veterinary hospital. Dr Ulbrich is actively involved in her community. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association, the Florida Veterinary Medical Association and has been the President and active BOD member of the Volusia-Flagler Veterinary Medical Association for 9 years. Her primary interests include internal medicine and oncology. She frequently attends national/international conferences keeping current with the most advanced veterinary medicine. In addition, she is certified to perform veterinary Stem Cell Therapy. Together, Dr Ulbrich and Dr MacPhail share a household with their children, Dogs, Cats, Umbrella Cockatoo, Guinea Pigs, Horses, Mini-Pig, Chickens, Ducks and Fish. She enjoys spending time with her family and occasionally tries to find time to go boating, scuba-diving, skiing, and horseback riding. She speaks fluent German and has traveled throughout the world.
