Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Johnathon Pierce joined Braden River Animal Hospital after practicing in the Midwest for six years. Born and raised in Northeast Ohio, Dr. Pierce graduated in 2005 with a Bachelors degree in Animal Sciences from Ohio State University. With the intention of always becoming a veterinarian, Dr. Pierce then fulfilled his lifelong dream by graduating in 2009 from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. While in graduate school, Dr. Pierce met his wife Danielle who is also a practicing veterinarian. In order to escape the frigid winters and to be closer to family, the Pierce family with their two young children, Evie and Lucas, moved to sunny St Petersburg in 2015 where Dr. Pierce also joined our practice in Bradenton. The Pierce family immensely enjoys their additional four-legged family members which includes two dogs, a cat, and a cockatiel. Braden River Animal Hospital is wonderful, and after being involved with the development of many practices previously, I believe that it is one of the best. With a focus on, not only, outstanding patient care, but client relationships and communication, I believe Braden River Animal Hospital raises the bar for the veterinary industry.
