Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Janet Triplett grew up in Old Greenwich, Connecticut, and while she was interested in becoming a veterinarian directly after she graduated from high school, Dr. Triplett initially pursued an education in Mathematics and a career in computer programming. She earned her undergraduate degree in Mathematics from Northwestern University and her Master's Degree in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Triplett spent 27 years working in corporate America before shifting careers and earning her doctorate in veterinary medicine from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. Her professional interests include internal medicine, dermatology, and cardiology. She is a member of the Fairfield County Veterinary Medical Society, the Connecticut Veterinary Medical Society, the American Veterinary Medical Association, and the Veterinary Information Network.
