Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Maya Lottati graduated from the University of California Davis with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. She completed a small animal rotating internship at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital in 2013, and soon after joined VCA Veterinary Specialists of the Valley as a resident of Internal Medicine. Dr. Lottati completed her residency in 2016, and stayed on as an internist. Prior to veterinary school Dr. Lottati received a Ph.D. in Physiology from the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine researching the relationship between obesity and insulin resistance in the dog. She grew up in Maryland and attended the University of Maryland College Park for undergraduate University. Her whole family relocated to Los Angeles, and now currently reside in the San Fernando Valley. Dr. Lottati lives in Woodland Hills with her husband, two small mixed-breed dogs named Niro and Chaya, and cat named Addison.
