Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Amanda Tallant grew up outside of Atlanta. During her high school years, she spent her spare time working to raise awareness and donations for the local Humane Society, which led to her Girl Scout Gold Award and eventually adopting her first rescue dog. She then attended the first college in the world chartered to grant degrees to women, Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia. There she earned her bachelor?s degree, was awarded an Energy Research Fellowship in Sequim, Washington and participated in the Osaka University Student Exchange Program in Japan.
