Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Jennifer Simpson journeyed from South Africa to gain her college education in California and veterinary education at Oregon State University Veterinary School. Dr. Simpson became the first small animal surgical fellow at the new teaching hospital and completed her surgical residency and achieved board certification there as well. With her broad spectrum of skills, Dr. Simpson has expertise in both soft tissue surgery (thoracic surgery, abdominal surgery, cancer surgery) and orthopedic procedures (joint surgery, fracture repair, TPLO). Like our team of skilled and compassionate professionals at VMSG, Dr. Simpson is always focused on caring for each patient and ensuring their optimal recovery and well-being. Dr. Simpson is as thrilled to be at VMSG as we are! She, along with her husband, and their two children are ecstatic to make Ventura home.
