Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Elizabeth Schuh is a California native who grew up in the San Luis Obispo area before moving north to attend the University of California, Davis for both her undergraduate (2006) and veterinary degrees (2012). Dr. Schuh then completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the University of Illinois and subsequently trained as an Oncology Intern at Veterinary Specialty Hospital of San Diego. Since then she has practiced emergency medicine and as an associate doctor at Veterinary Cancer Group. Her most recent professional endeavor involved cutting-edge training in veterinary clinical trials at The Ohio State University. Dr. Schuh is thrilled to be rejoining the Veterinary Cancer Group team as a medical oncology resident and divides her time between the Los Angeles and Orange County offices. Her professional interests include translational medicine, the human animal bond and advancing the veterinary profession through clinical trials. When she is not at work, she is a food and wine enthusiast and is hoping to dust off her snowboarding gear now that she is firmly back in California!
