Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Church was born and raised on a dairy farm in Connecticut. He received his bachelor's degree in pre-veterinary science from Rutgers-The State University. After an 18-month tour of duty in the Navy, he received a master's degree in veterinary pathology from The University of Connecticut. In 1981, he received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from LMU-Munich, Germany.Dr. Church completed an internship and surgical residency at the Animal Medical Center, New York, N.Y., where he remained on staff for another three years. Subsequently, he honed his skills at a variety of large and small veterinary hospitals prior to operating his own small-animal practice.He has authored over 12 veterinary publications and brings over 25 years of clinical experience as a board-eligible surgeon.
