Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Heather Brady has been a life-long client of Veterinary Medical Center of Turlock and became a part time veterinarian for VMC in December of 2018. Dr. Brady grew up just down the road in Denair, California. She graduated from DHS as valedictorian (go Coyotes!) then attended college at UC Santa Barbara (earning a B.S. in Zoology) while simultaneously interning/volunteering at multiple animal care organizations and zoos Immediately after college, Dr. Brady flew to Boston to teach 9th grade science with Teach for America. Upon her return to the west coast, Dr. Brady briefly traveled to Nicaragua with World Vets to provide veterinary care to dogs, cats, horses and livestock. While at UC Davis, Dr. Brady was active in many clubs including being the President of the Shelter Medicine Club and volunteering with the non-profit Pets of the Homeless Mercer Clinic. After obtaining her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Dr. Brady decided to return to her roots and continue to provide affordable and high quality veterinary care. In her free time, Dr. Brady enjoys being with her family (especially her nieces and nephews!). She is a proud mom of two cats (Frankie and Felicity) and one adorable mutt (Coconut). She is also a craft-beer aficionado, movie buff, and travel enthusiast.
