Veterinarian Overview
Originally from Pennsylvania, I received my Associates Degree in Wildlife Technology from Penn State University in 1979 and Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Slippery Rock University in 1982. My Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine was received at the University of California-Davis in 1989. An MBA in Agribusiness was completed at the University of Guelph in 2011. Ive practiced at Lander Veterinary Clinic since graduating from UC-Davis in 1989. My interests extend to business and finance, using derivatives (forward contracting, futures and options) to hedge prices for the QMS Division and to offer business management services to Lander Vet clients. My passion outside the Clinic is directed to Christian international relief and development projects, serving with the Christian Veterinary Mission, Send International and Central Asian Partners to Kenya, Albania and Kyrgyzstan. Outdoor activities are my favorite pastimes, especially fishing, softball, photography, camping and travel. My two daughters, Moriah and Madelyn share my enthusiasm for animals, sports and travel.
