Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Hui Liu (Beverly Liu) was born in China and grew up in the Bay Area in Northern California. She attended the University of California - Davis and earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Biology. She pursued her Veterinary Medicine Doctorate Degree at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. She has practiced in a variety of small animal hospitals and she thoroughly enjoys every aspect of being a Veterinarian. Dr. Liu is currently pursuing her certification of Small Animal Acupuncture and Chinese Traditional Medicine (CTM). She is excited to join the team at Plaza Del Amo and cannot wait to start treating dogs and cats in need for acupuncture and CTM. In addition to acupuncture and holistic medicine, she has a passion for dentistry, dermatology and internal medicine. Dr. Liu currently lives with her partner and two one-eyed cats in Torrance. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, volunteering and attending to her plants. She also speaks both Cantonese and Mandarin and knows how to read and write Chinese.
