Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Joohee Seo graduated from Pitzer College of the Claremont Colleges with a Bachelors degree in Biology and a minor in Music. She then continued her education to earn a degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences. Dr. Seo has experienced many externships and clinical rotations through New York, New Jersey, and California, where she continued gaining knowledge in a wide breadth of medicine including emergency and critical care, internal medicine, and surgery and anesthesia.She has also completed a summer training program in comparative medicine at New York University and externships in Columbia University Medical Center and Stanford University Medical Center. Throughout veterinary school, she was actively involved with various national organizations. She took several leadership positions such as a vice president for the Student Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society and a class representative for the Student Chapter of the American Animal Hospital Association. She finds that having the ability to help the debilitated animals back to health is a fascinating and rewarding career. She cares for her patients and their families with a warm heart and great passion.Outside of work, Dr. Seo enjoys traveling, playing the piano, going to music concerts, art galleries and spending time with family and friend
