Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Kim received his veterinary medical degree from the University of Sydney, Australia in 2005. He then spent 3 years in England and Hong Kong practicing veterinary medicine. After returning to Australia in 2008, Mark spent the next four years working in specialty and emergency animal hospitals in Sydney. He completed further studies and examinations in emergency and critical care medicine. He was accepted as a Member of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists Chapter of Emergency and Critical Care in 2011. Mark relocated to San Diego and joined the PESC team as an Emergency and Critical Care Clinician in 2012. He enjoys all aspects of emergency medicine and surgery, particularly neurology and cardiology. He also enjoys surfing, mountain biking, snow boarding, and eating good food.
