Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Jackman is co-owner of Acorn Veterinary Clinic with Dr. Borges. She grew up in the Bay Area, and worked as a veterinarian technician before moving to Davis. At UC Davis she received her Bachelor of Science degree in zoology, and completed her MVPM and DVM in 1987. She is an avid birdwatcher, gardener, hiker, and loves playing hockey. She has shared her home and heart with many cats, dogs, chickens, sheep, and rabbits. Currently she lives in rural Davis with her husband and two sons, a border collie cross, three cats, and is currently in a disagreement with her husband regarding adopting a kitten that is being fostered at Acorn Veterinary Clinic.
